We’ll, I decided to infodump in here with websites that I know, that sort of have available resources for writers.
- 1. The Masters Review ( https://mastersreview.com )
So here is the site with possible info. Occasionally hosting the award stuff, competition stuff… As well as just sharing online writers competitions in BLOG page. Yes, there’s the free options and the paid options.
- 2. Frontier Poetry ( https://www.frontierpoetry.com )
Same stuff with optional event drops where you can participate.
Also you can submit your works to them and get paid if they pick it to feature it/have it out on their site.
- 3. Uncharted Mag ( https://www.unchartedmag.com )
Basically also hosts occasional events with paid stuff.
- 4. Craft Literary ( https://www.craftliterary.com )
So – submit your stuff, get paid if accepted.
- 5. LA Film festival ( https://lgbtlosangelesfilmfestival.com )
Wanna submit stuff? Go register in filmfreeway and PAY for your submission, coz with goddamn festival stuff – you gotta pay to get your stuff in. That’s how they get their $$$. Bastards.
- 6. Film Freeway ( https://filmfreeway.com )
Submit to the film fests and pay what needs be paid to have a chance.
- 7. Smaldance ( https://slamdance.com )
So – same apply and see what happens.
- 8. Shore Scripts ( https://www.shorescripts.com )
Same stuff – apply and pay for the opportunities out there in the wild.
Why am I not going into detail with these websites?
Frankly – coz they typically have the “requirements” and “certain aspects” that piss me off, but they are sure workable to most other authors who are “Ok” to write in genres that are more out there in the mundane world.
I tend to write shit that’s more out there in the wild, so less options when you are a Niche Author. ¬_¬ Though you still find ways.
